177.The provisions of this Act come into force by an order or orders to be made by the Secretary of State with the following exceptions:
sections 1, 25, 27 and 28 (increase in state pension age, payment of surplus to employer, amendment to Schedule 4 to the PA 2007 and amendment to section 42(6) of the PSA 1993 respectively) come into force two months from the day on which the Act receives Royal Assent.
those provisions in Part 2 that modify an existing power to make an order or regulations, or provides for such a power, come into force, for the purpose of exercising the power, on the day on which the Act receives Royal Assent.
sections 30 to 33 come into force on the day on which the Act receives Royal Assent.
sections 37, 38 and 39 come into force on the day on which the Act receives Royal Assent.
