Child Poverty Act 2010

Territorial Extent

7.In general, Part 1 of the Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. However, section 11 (relating to strategies prepared by the Scottish Ministers) extends to Scotland only and section 12 (relating to strategies prepared by the relevant Northern Ireland department) extends to Northern Ireland only. Part 2 of the Act extends to England and Wales, but applies only to local authority areas in England. Section 26 extends to England and Wales only.
