30Interpretation

(1)

In this Act, the “appropriate national authority” means—

(a)

in relation to a levying authority whose area is in England or in relation to hereditaments in England, the Secretary of State;

(b)

in relation to a levying authority whose area is in Wales or in relation to hereditaments in Wales, the Welsh Ministers.

(2)

For the purposes of this Act, an expression in the first column of the Table is defined or otherwise explained by the provision of this Act, or of the 1988 Act, the 1999 Act or the 2003 Act, specified in the second column.
