The list of objectives in section 4(1) of the Railways Act 1993 (c. 43) (objectives of F1Office of Rail and Road and Secretary of State) shall be treated, in relation to F1the Office of Rail and Road only, as including the objective of facilitating the construction of Crossrail.

F1The Office of Rail and Road shall consult the Secretary of State about the duty under section 4(1) of the Railways Act 1993 (c. 43) (as modified by subsection (1)).

This section shall cease to have effect on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument specify.

A statutory instrument containing an order under subsection (3) shall be laid before Parliament after being made.
