20 U.K. The Transport and Works Act 1992 is amended as follows.

21 U.K. In section 22 (validity of orders authorising works), in subsections (1)(b) and (2)(b), for “1971” substitute “ 1992 ”.

22 (1) Section 23 (inquiries etc. held by person appointed to determine application) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (9)—

(a) for “1971” substitute “ 1992 ”, and

(b) for “section 12(1)” substitute “ section 10(1) ”.
