Regulations may make provision for the payment of such fees (if any) as may be prescribed in connection with registration or extension of registration.

The power to make regulations under subsection (1) is, in the case of fees payable by persons entitled to give paid instruction in the driving of a motor car by virtue of Part 2 of the Recognition of Professional Qualifications and Implementation of International Recognition Agreements (Amendment) Regulations 2023, subject to regulation 13 of those Regulations.

Regulations may make provision for the repayment (in whole or in part) of any fee payable by virtue of any provision of this Part of this Act in such circumstances as may be prescribed.
