70Financial assistance

(1)

F1The First Minister may give financial assistance (whether by way of grant, loan or guarantee) to any person engaged in any activity which F2the First Minister considers will secure, or help to secure, the attainment of any objective which F3the Minister aims to attain in the exercise of any of F4the Minister's functions.

(2)

F5The First Minister may attach conditions to the giving of financial assistance F6by the Minister; and the conditions which may be attached include, in particular, conditions requiring the repayment of the whole or any part of a grant, or the making of any other payments, in any circumstances.

This section applies in relation to the Counsel General as in relation to the First Minister.
