27A F1Senedd Commission

(1)

There is to be a body corporate to be known as the F2Senedd Commission or Comisiwn y Senedd (referred to in this Act as “the F1Senedd Commission”).

(2)

The members of the F1Senedd Commission are to be—

(a)

the Presiding Officer, and

(b)

four other F3Members of the Senedd.

(3)

The standing orders must make provision for the appointment of the four other F3Members of the Senedd as members of the F1Senedd Commission.

(4)

The provision included in the standing orders in compliance with subsection (3) must (so far as it is reasonably practicable to do so) secure that not more than one of the members of the F1Senedd Commission (other than the Presiding Officer) belongs to any one political group.

(5)

The F1Senedd Commission must—

(a)

provide to the F1Senedd, or

(b)

ensure that the F1Senedd is provided with,

the property, staff and services required for the F1Senedd's purposes.

(6)

The F1Senedd may give special or general directions to the F1Senedd Commission for the purpose of, or in connection with, the exercise of the F1Senedd Commission's functions.

(7)

Any property, rights or liabilities acquired or incurred in relation to matters to which the F1Senedd would otherwise be entitled or subject are to be treated for all purposes as property, rights or liabilities of the F1Senedd Commission.
