2(1)Section 45 of the 1998 Act (maintained schools to have budget shares) is amended as follows.E+W
(2)In subsection (1) for “financial year” substitute “ funding period ”.
(3)After subsection (1A) insert—
“(1B)In this Chapter “funding period” means a financial year or such other period as may be prescribed.”
(4)In subsection (2)—
(a)for “45A and” substitute “ 45A to ”, and
(b)for “financial year” substitute “ funding period ”.
