The Road Traffic Act 1988 is amended as follows.

In section 4 (driving etc. under influence of drink or drugs), omit subsections (6) to (8).

In section 163 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (power of police to stop vehicles), omit subsection (4).

The repeal of section 4(8) extends also to Scotland.
