(1)Any power to make an order or regulations under this Act is exercisable by statutory rule for the purposes of the Statutory Rules (Northern Ireland) Order 1979 (S.I. 1979/1573 (N.I. 12)).
(2)No order shall be made under section 8(5) unless a draft of the order has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, [F1the Northern Ireland Assembly].
[F2(2A)Section 41(3) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 applies for the purposes of subsection (2) in relation to the laying of a draft as it applies in relation to the laying of a statutory document under an enactment.]
(3)An order under section 8(3)(c) or 11(4) and regulations under paragraph 1(4) [F3, 5A(5)] or 6(1) of Schedule 3 shall be subject to [F4negative resolution (within the meaning of section 41(6) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954)].
(4)An order or regulations made under this Act may include supplementary, incidental, transitional or consequential provisions.
