Amend section 12 (orders for payment of capital sum or transfer of property) as follows.

In subsection (1)—
a
in paragraph (a), at the end insert “
or of dissolution of a civil partnership
”

b
in paragraph (b), for “decree of divorce” substitute “
the decree
”
.

In subsection (4), the existing words “either party to the marriage” become paragraph (a) and after that paragraph insert the following paragraph—
