12 [F1 In section 48(2) of the Naval Discipline Act 1957 (courts-martial not to have jurisdiction as regards certain offences committed in the United Kingdom)—

(a) omit “or rape”, and

(b) before “committed on shore” insert “ or an offence under section 1 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (rape) ”.]
