20Rules

(1)

In sections 10, 17, 18 and 19 “rules” means rules made by the F1Lord Chief Justice .

Before making any rules for the purposes of section 10, 17, 18 or 19 the F2Lord Chief Justice must consult—

the Family Procedure Rule Committee, F5...

The Lord Chief Justice may nominate a judicial office holder (as defined in section 109(4) of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005) to exercise his functions of making the rules referred to in this section.
