Amend section 116 (power of magistrates' court to authorise stopping up or diversion of highway) as follows.

In subsection (8)(b), for “for the same petty sessions” substitute “ in the same local justice ”.

In subsection (9), for “the clerk of the court” substitute “ a justices' clerk ”.
