(1)Any power to make regulations conferred by this Chapter on the Secretary of State is exercisable by statutory instrument.
(2)A statutory instrument containing any such regulations is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament[F2, subject to subsection (2A)].
[F3(2A)A statutory instrument containing regulations under section 54(6), 56(10) or 71A may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.]
(3)The regulations may make different provision for different purposes.
