In section 1(2A)(a) of the Malicious Communications Act 1988 (c. 27)
(offence of sending electronic communications with intent to cause distress or anxiety), for “a telecommunication system (within the meaning of the Telecommunications Act 1984)” there shall be substituted “
an electronic communications network
”
