Section 50 of the 1990 Act (applications for additional services licences) shall be amended as follows.

For “the Commission” and “The Commission”, wherever occurring, there shall be substituted “ OFCOM ”.

In subsection (1)(b)(ii), the words “(subject to the approval of the Secretary of State)” shall be omitted.

Subsection (7) shall cease to have effect.
