Schedule 1 to the Sunday Trading Act 1994 (restrictions on Sunday opening of large shops) is amended as follows.

In paragraph 1—
a
for the definition of “intoxicating liquor” substitute—
“alcohol” has the same meaning as in the Licensing Act 2003,
b
in paragraph (a) of the definition of “sale of goods”, for “intoxicating liquor” substitute “alcohol”.
