123 Suppression of information

(1)

A person commits an offence if in the course of proceedings relating to registration under this Act he suppresses information with the intention of—

(a)

concealing a person’s right or claim, or

(b)

substantiating a false claim.

(2)

A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable—

(a)

on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to a fine;

(b)

on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum, or to both.
