14(1)If it appears to a local authority that paragraph 1 applies or may apply to a person in the authority’s area by virtue of [F1paragraph 6, 7 or 7A] , the authority must inform the Secretary of State.U.K.
(2)A local authority shall act in accordance with any relevant guidance issued by the Secretary of State for the purpose of determining whether paragraph 1 applies or may apply to a person in the authority’s area by virtue of [F1paragraph 6, 7 or 7A] .
