The F1CMA may authorise any competent person who is not an officer of the F1CMA to exercise on its behalf all or any of the powers conferred by section 193 or 194.

No such authority may be granted except for the purpose of investigating the affairs, or any aspect of the affairs, of a person specified in the authority.

No person is bound to comply with any requirement imposed by a person exercising powers by virtue of any authority granted under this section unless he has, if required to do so, produced evidence of his authority.
