(1)
In this Chapter references to a judge in relation to an application must be construed in accordance with this section.
(2)
In relation to an application for the purposes of a confiscation investigation F1, a money laundering investigation F2, a detained cash investigation, a detained property investigation F3, a frozen funds investigation or a cryptoasset investigation a judge is—
(a)
in England and Wales, a judge entitled to exercise the jurisdiction of the Crown Court;
(b)
in Northern Ireland, a Crown Court judge.
