67 Meaning of “UK national”, “UK resident” and “person subject to UK service jurisdiction”

(1)

In this Part a “United Kingdom national” means an individual who is—

(a)

a British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen, a British National (Overseas) or a British Overseas Citizen,

(b)

a person who under the British Nationality Act 1981 (c. 61) is a British subject, or

(c)

a British protected person within the meaning of that Act.

(2)

In this Part a “United Kingdom resident” means a person who is resident in the United Kingdom.

(3)

In this Part a “person subject to UK service jurisdiction” means—

F1a person subject to service law, or a civilian subject to service discipline, within the meaning of the Armed Forces Act 2006.
