This section applies to a local authority if it is operating a mayor and cabinet executive.
(1)
The local authority—
(a)
may vary its executive arrangements so that they provide for a leader and cabinet executive (England), and
(b)
may vary its executive arrangements in such other respects (if any) as it considers appropriate.
