F1113 [F1Sixth forms requiring significant improvement ][F2: Wales]E+W
F3(1)Schedule 7 ([F3sixth forms requiring significant improvement ]) shall have effect.
[F4(2)Expressions used in that Schedule and in [F5Chapter 4 of Part 1 of the Education Act 2005 have the same meaning as in that Chapter.]]
(3) Sections 496 and 497 of the M1 Education Act 1996 (intervention) shall have effect in relation to powers and duties conferred or imposed by virtue of Schedule 7 as if—
(a) those powers and duties were conferred or imposed by the M2 Education Act 1996, and
(b) the bodies specified in sections 496(2) and 497(2) were any local education authority F6 ... and the governing body of any maintained school (within the meaning given by section 20(7) of the M3 School Standards and Framework Act 1998).
