20 U.K.In section 222 of the M1 Local Government Act 1972 (power of local authority to prosecute or defend legal proceedings) in subsection (2) (which provides that local authority includes the Common Council) after “Common Council” there shall be inserted “ and the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority ”.
