In section 100 of the M1Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (interpretation and extent of Part X) in the subsection (1) which is substituted by paragraph 57 of Schedule 11 to the M2Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (and which defines “subsidiary” in relation to different bodies) in paragraph (a), before “or a joint authority established by Part IV of the M3Local Government Act 1985” there shall be inserted “
