11 Interpretation.E+W

(1)In this Act—

  • land” has the same meaning as in the M1Trustee Act 1925, and

  • enduring power” has the same meaning as in the M2Enduring Powers of Attorney Act 1985.

(2)References in this Act to the creation of a power of attorney are to the execution by the donor of the instrument creating it.

12 Repeals.E+W

The enactments specified in the Schedule to this Act are repealed to the extent specified in the third column, but subject to the note at the end.

13 Commencement, extent and short title.E+W

(1)The preceding provisions of this Act shall come into force on such day as the Lord Chancellor may by order made by statutory instrument appoint.

(2)This Act extends to England and Wales only.

(3)This Act may be cited as the Trustee Delegation Act 1999.
