Scotland Act 1998

Details of Provisions

Subsection (1) provides that any expenditure:

(a)

incurred by a Minister of the Crown by virtue of the Scotland Act; and

(b)

any increase attributable to the Scotland Act in the sums payable out of money provided by Parliament under any other enactment,

shall be paid out of money provided by Parliament.

Subsection (2) provides that any sums received by a Minister of the Crown by virtue of the Scotland Act shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund, unless they are otherwise directed to be paid into the National Loans Fund (see for example sections 67(4) and 71(8)).
