A person is guilty of an offence if he intentionally obstructs an officer acting in the exercise of his powers under section 27.
(6)
A person guilty of an offence under subsection F3... (5) is liable—
(a)
on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum;
(b)
on conviction on indictment, to a fine.
(7)
A person who intentionally obstructs an officer in the exercise of his powers under a warrant issued under F4section 28 or 28A is guilty of an offence and liable—
(a)
on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum;
(b)
on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to a fine or to both.

A person is not guilty of an offence under subsection (5) or (7) by reason of any act or omission in relation to which the CMA has proceeded against the person under section 40ZE(1).
