A person serving as a member of the naval, military or air forces of the Crown does not qualify for the national minimum wage in respect of that service.

Section 36 above applies to employment by an association established for the purposes of Part XI of the M1Reserve Forces Act 1996, notwithstanding anything in subsection (1) above.
