1The Attorney General shall by regulations provide that, where a person is sent for trial under section 51 of this Act on any charge or charges, copies of the documents containing the evidence on which the charge or charges are based shall, on or before the relevant date—
(a)be served on that person; and
(b)be given to the Crown Court sitting at the place specified in the notice under subsection (7) of that section.
(2)In sub-paragraph (1) above “the relevant date” means the date prescribed by the regulations.
