Objections E+W

2 (1) Any person may make objections to[F1 , or comments on,] any proposals published under section 28, 29 or 31. E+W

(2) Where the proposals were published by a local education authority—

(a) any objections [F2 or comments] under this paragraph shall be sent to the authority within such period as may be prescribed (“[F3 the objection period] [F3 the representation period]”); and

(b) within such period as may be prescribed the authority shall send to the relevant committee copies of all objections [F4 or comments] made (and not withdrawn in writing) within [F5 the objection period] [F5 the representation period], together with the authority’s observations on them.

(3) Where the proposals were published by a governing body or promoters, any objections [F6 or comments] under this paragraph shall be sent to the relevant committee within such period as may be prescribed.
