SCHEDULE 2 Disciplinary powers of Council
Prohibition orders

Where a prohibition order is made in relation to a person—
a
he shall cease to be eligible for registration under section 3, and
b
if he is a registered teacher at the time when the order is made, his name shall be removed from the register accordingly,
and he shall not become so eligible again unless the Council, on an application made by him in accordance with regulations, so direct.

No such application may be made before the end of the period of two years beginning with the date when the prohibition order takes effect or such longer period as may be specified in the order.
