1 Decommissioning scheme.

(1)

In this Act a “decommissioning scheme” is any scheme which—

(a)

is made by the Secretary of State to facilitate the decommissioning of firearms, ammunition and explosives in Northern Ireland, and

(b)

includes provisions satisfying the requirements of sections 2 and 3 (whether or not it also includes other provisions).

(2)

Section 2 of the M1Documentary Evidence Act 1868 (mode of proving certain documents) shall apply to a decommissioning scheme.
