SCHEDULE 8 U.K. Transitional provisions and savings

Existing borrowing members which are corporations U.K.

5 U.K. Nothing in section 2 of this Act shall affect the operation of Schedule 2 to the 1986 Act in relation to any body corporate which, immediately before the commencement of that section, is a borrowing member of a building society within the meaning given by paragraph 5(2) of that Schedule (as substituted by that section).
