In section 74 for subsection (1) substitute—

The Evidence of Alibi Act (Northern Ireland) 1972 shall cease to have effect.

In section 74 for subsection (4) substitute—

In Article 8(6) of the Criminal Justice (Serious Fraud) (Northern Ireland) Order 1988 (disclosure in cases involving fraud) in sub-paragraph (a) for the words “section 1 of the Evidence of Alibi Act (Northern Ireland) 1972” there shall be substituted the words “section 5(7) of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996”.
Sch. 4 extends to Northern Ireland but the operation of Sch. 4 is limited by application as mentioned in s. 79(4)
