In section 18 at the end add—

In section 13 (legal aid) of the Contempt of Court Act 1981 (as set out in Schedule 4 to that Act) in subsection (1)(a) after sub-paragraph (ii) there shall be inserted—
“
by a magistrates’ court or the Crown Court under section 18 of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996; or”.
Sch. 4 extends to Northern Ireland but the operation of Sch. 4 is limited by application as mentioned in s. 79(4)
