The Supreme Court Act 1981 is amended as follows.

In section 18(1) (restrictions on appeals to the Court of Appeal), for paragraph (g) substitute—

except as provided by Part I of the Arbitration Act 1996, from any decision of the High Court under that Part;

In section 151 (interpretation, &c.), in the definition of “arbitration agreement”, for “the Arbitration Act 1950 by virtue of section 32 of that Act;” substitute “
Part I of the Arbitration Act 1996;
