F2Remit of mentally disordered persons from district court
Annotations:
Amendments (Textual)
52ARemit of certain mentally disordered persons from district court to sheriff court
Where—
a
a person has been charged in a F1JP court with an offence punishable by imprisonment; and
b
it appears to the court that the person has a mental disorder,
the F1JP court shall remit the person to the sheriff in the manner provided by section 7(9) and (10) of this Act.
