52ARemit of certain mentally disordered persons from district court to sheriff courtS
Where—
(a)a person has been charged in a [F2JP court] with an offence punishable by imprisonment; and
(b)it appears to the court that the person has a mental disorder,
the [F2JP court] shall remit the person to the sheriff in the manner provided by section 7(9) and (10) of this Act.]
