37Modification of provisions of Children Act 1989 regarding disqualification from registration as child minder etc
In paragraph 2 of Schedule 9 to the M1Children Act 1989 (which provides for regulations disqualifying certain persons from registration as a child minder or as a provider of day care for young children), at the end of sub-paragraph (1) there shall be added
“unless he has—
(a)
disclosed the fact to the appropriate local authority; and
(b)
obtained their written consent.”.
