SCHEDULE 5 Amendments relating to Part III

The Pension Schemes Act 1993 (c. 48)

31 In section 23 (securing of benefits)–

(a) subsections (1) and (5) are omitted,

(b) in subsection (4), for “(1) to (3)” there is substituted “(2) and (3)”;

and subsections (2) and (3) of that section do not apply where the winding up is begun on or after the principal appointed day.
