1 Functions of traffic commissioners. E+W+S

(1) [F1 A traffic commissioner] shall exercise the functions conferred on him by this Act.

(2) In the exercise of his functions under this Act a traffic commissioner shall act under [F2 the general directions of, and shall have regard to any guidance given by, the senior traffic commissioner].
