255HLimitation period
An action to recover costs under section 255G may not be brought after the end of whichever of the following ends earlier—
(a)
the period of 3 years beginning with the date on which a wreck removal notice was given in respect of the wreck, and
(b)
the period of 6 years beginning with the date of the accident which resulted in the wreck.
