In section 174 (insanity in bar of trial or as ground of acquittal)—
a
in subsection (2)—
i
for the words “as aforesaid” in the first place where they occur there shall be substituted “
on indictment with the commission of the offence
”
; and
ii
after the word “and” in the second place where it occurs there shall be inserted “
, if so,
”
; and
b
subsections (3) and (4) shall cease to have effect.
