In section 220 (extension of functions of Audit Commission)—
a
in subsection (1), after paragraph (a) insert—
aa
a funding agency under Part I of the Education Act 1994 or the governing body of an institution receiving financial support under that Part, or
b
in subsection (2), omit the word “and” following paragraph (bd) and after paragraph (c) insert—
d
with respect to studies relating to a funding agency under Part I of the Education Act 1994, the agency; and
e
with respect to studies relating to the governing body of an institution receiving financial support under that Part, the appropriate funding agency or the governing body.
