1 Amendment of the 1920 and 1972 Acts.U.K.

(1)The M1Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 1920 shall have effect (until its repeal by the M2Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972 comes into force) with the amendments set out in Part I of Schedule 1 to this Act.

(2)The Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972 shall have effect with the amendments set out in Part II of Schedule 1 to this Act.

2 Consequential amendments and repeals.U.K.

(1)The amendments set out in Schedule 2 to this Act shall have effect.

(2)The enactments and subordinate legislation mentioned in Schedule 3 to this Act are repealed or revoked to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.

3 Commencement.U.K.

This Act shall come into force on such day as the Lord Chancellor may by order made by statutory instrument appoint; and different days may be appointed for different provisions or different purposes.

This Act may be cited as the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1992.
