SCHEDULE 4 E+W AMENDMENTS OF CHARITABLE TRUSTEES INCORPORATION ACT 1872

I1 Sch. 4 wholly in force at 1.1.1993 see s. 79(2) and S.I 1992/1900, art. 4(1), Sch 3.

3 For section 3 of the 1872 Act substitute—

“3 Applications for incorporation.

“3 (1) Every application to the Commissioners for a certificate of incorporation under this Act shall—

(a) be in writing and signed by the trustees of the charity concerned; and

(b) be accompanied by such documents or information as the Commissioners may require for the purpose of the application.

(2) The Commissioners may require—

(a) any statement contained in any such application, or

(b) any document or information supplied under subsection (1)(b) above,

to be verified in such manner as they may specify.”
